About
The Johnny Morris Foundation has volunteer opportunities at Wonders of Wildlife National Museum & Aquarium in Springfield, MO, Dogwood Canyon Nature Park in Lampe, MO, and Ancient Ozarks History Museum and the Lost Canyon Cave Trail in Ridgedale, MO. All of these locations have multiple opportunities to engage with guests about conservation, our animals and artifacts, and support team members in their roles. We offer versatile trainings on each exhibit and you usually set your own schedule (depending on your volunteer role). We also accept students who wish to do an unpaid internship.

Wondering if you should register to volunteer? Based on the CDC guidelines, we are asking you the following questions:
The Johnny Morris Foundation also asks that all team member (which includes our volunteers/interns) wear a mask, social distance, and be temperature checked daily when arriving on-site.
- Have you been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19? See the CDC’s risk assessment guidance.
- Do you have symptoms consistent with COVID-19? Symptoms can include a cough or shortness of breath or at least two of the following: Fever, Chills, Repeated shaking with chills, Muscle pain, Headache, Sore throat, New loss of taste or smell. See the CDC’s symptom information.
