Operation Fit Nation (OFN) is a local nonprofit focused on health equity and access. Our mission is to empower underserved communities to fight for their health. Awareness, education, and action are key; we have witnessed firsthand how small changes in health behavior have saved the lives of individuals as well as the lives of those around them.
Health is an integral aspect of life – whether it be physical, mental, or spiritual. In order to truly tackle our health issues, it must be addressed in all forms. We are accomplishing this through wellness interventions that provide opportunities, tools, and relevant knowledge to individuals in at-risk communities.
We host a variety of events and opportunities each year, including Healthy Halloween, Spring Carnival, and Fit Camps. We also offer service opportunities during which our volunteers engage in active fun with local youth, promoting health and wellness.
