Luckyday Scholars are engaged in four areas of success: scholarship, community, service, and leadership. During your time as a Luckyday Scholar you will be able to take advantage of many opportunities available in each of the four areas of success. Luckyday Peer Leaders and program staff provide support and encouragement as you engage in the programming.
Volunteering offers Luckyday Scholars the opportunity to “pay it forward.” All Luckyday Scholars volunteer for ten hours each semester. During your time with Luckyday you will be provided numerous ways in which you may volunteer. Volunteering will also allow scholars to connect with the Oxford/Lafayette community while serving others. The Luckyday Program partners with the Office of Community Engagement to provide opportunities for scholars to connect with service partners.
